Where Are You, God?! |

The things God do at times are usually unusual and
foolish to men, especially to wise, thinking people. And in a world of
pain and suffering many lose faith in God and some even reach the point
where they don?t even believe that He exist! After all, if He did He
wouldn?t allow the evil in the world to be a reality. They ask, ?Isn?t
He a God of love?? When they lose someone or something dare to them
they seek to know, ?Where are You, God?! Why are You not here??
St. John 11: 1 ? 44 tells the story of Mary and Martha, how
they lost their brother, Lazarus and it made it clear that Jesus could
have healed him, but delayed. This is what the natural mind cannot
understand: Why would God delay in my time of need, desperation?! And I
think it?s a fair question to ask. Where is God when the situation is
out of our control? In verse 3 Jesus was told, ?Lord, the one You love is sick?, yet in verse 6 Jesus remained where He was for two whole days. How irrational!

Today the paper and
electronic media thrive off advertisements. Banks offer great, attractive
interest rates and loans. Telecommunication companies seek to ?woo? us with the
best deals, from low local rates to free overseas calls. Car dealerships offer
low monthly deposits, so that almost anyone can in time have their own car.
Companies compete with each other to see who can win the most customers and so
they advertise their products, services and experiences in a humorous and
seemingly affordable way. But no matter how low the interest rates, how many
free calls you might receive, how much money you could save, if you just stick
around for the final ? second of the advertisement you?d hear these two words:
?Conditions Apply!?

If you are on the internet reading this article I guess
it is somewhat safe to assume that you are in some way familiar
with the computer. As an IT student I unashamedly declare that the
computer is a wonderful piece of technology. But one thing which makes
using the computer more fun than the usual is the shortcut keys. With
knowledge of shortcuts you can use the mouse less and get more done in
less time. One such shortcut key is ?CTRL Z? (Control Key + Z Key), which undoes previous editing.
You might be wondering why I am talking about computers and
shortcuts, but I just want to focus on the shortcut key CTRL Z (undo).
We are all born in a world of sin; let?s say that at birth we were
given a clean page, a new document. We begin to edit it and all our
lives we made mistakes, messed up!
