Failing God! E-mail
Written by Khimani A. Williams

But what about the issue of sin when it comes unto failing God?! After all, we all sin, so how does this affect our failing or not failing God? Isn?t our duty adversely affected when we ?miss the mark?? Well, the best analogy I can give is to think of a race, where we are all athletes. We may trip and fall, but we must get up and finish the race. [Proverbs 24:16]. Finishing the race is our duty. And God has never left us alone and will never, for Christ is able to ?keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy.? [Jude 1: 24]. He can present us without fault?! Well, why should we get lukewarm? Let?s live for Him!
?However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.? [Acts 20:24]. What is life worth if we are not living it the way it?s suppose to be lived ? in worship to our Creator? Let?s us run this race by God?s grace.
Whether we receive five, two or one talent, let us glorify our Father with it, building on the foundation already laid. When the Master returns He will be pleased with us, because though we oftentimes fail, we haven?t failed Him. ?Well Done? He?ll gladly say to those who performed their duty by fearing Him and keeping His Word!

"To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm?neither hot nor cold?I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
Revelation 3:14 - 22

u'r most welcome Khimani and I just want to reiterate that I hope most persons
will read this and God will just speak to their hearts concerning anything He
might see necessary in their lives. Just like having that common fear of failing
exams so too as christians we have a fear of failing God...or at least we should
in a positive effort to do only that which pleases Him and brings glory to His
name alone. Itz a daily process I'm really hard to maintain....havent achieved
it...still working on...a daily process in which I die...that is flesh dies so
that Christ may live in us....and thank God that verse was placed on my heart.
We are meant to b living sacrifices...yes quite a paradox but a very tru and
reasonable one that we need to b reminded of...we rnt ourselves but Christ....we
were bought with a price....guys we dont own our lives in essence on earth so
letz pleeeeeaaz b reminded that evrything we do should b for HIM....don...

Thanks for the encouragement, Kay.
The scripture you left is really, really
gud. We are to offer our temples in service to God. God requires living
sacrifices, not burnt offerings.

Jah Bless!

ahhh good stuf Khimani....having been looking into this aspect of life recently
I find it quite encouraging that u shud write on this topic...jus to add to t
msg.. "Don't Waste Life!"...went to a bibel study and this came up...so
many of us dont make the time to seek God and find out their real
purpose/s....and life is so short nowadays those who are aware of their purpose
from even very early have to 'rush' to complete it...much less many of us who
are unaware even in young adulthood. In t days of Noah etc ppl luved up to 800
yrs....lol...we barely live to see 1/10 of that figure...so as t story of the
ten talents read so loudly...dont have ur life/talent and sit on it...get to
doing wat God will have u do.
Rom12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your reasonable service.
