Many
arguments about God today are filled will everything except God and His
work in human life. Instead of sticking to the topic at hand many
divert and focus on secondary, less relevant issues, such as pain and
suffering, the multiplicity of religions, ‘historical facts’, dates,
and the list goes on and on. But if we are talking about God we have to
talk about God and His work, not about what fits in with and satisfies
our worldview. For finite man to get a better view of the ‘Big Picture’
we have to collect information from the Infinite Creator who brings
transformation in the minds and lives of sinful men.
Now, the
Word of God has warned His Children that in debating they must avoid
certain topics which only leads to strife, further confusion and
fruitlessness. In Titus 3: 1 – 8 the
Apostle Paul“by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost”. He mentioned that by Christ’s justifying us by His Blood we have become heirs of eternal life. Paul admonished Titus to “affirm constantly” the work of Christ in the lives of men, and in so doing they will continue to live a faithful life.

What
would you do if you see a man walking on water? Personally, I would
freak out. For a man, made with a solid exterior, to defy gravity and
walk on liquid, that is not something my mind is prepared for.
Certainly this goes against everything my Science teacher taught me,
and mama never told me anything close to it. Peace of mind would have
been replaced with fear, for beholding such a spectacle would simply
just be terrifying.
Well, this was the experience of Jesus’ Disciples in St. Mark 6: 45 – 56.
Jesus sent them ahead of Himself to Bethsaida. Caught in the middle of
the lake with their boat being driven by the heavy wind, they were in
desperate need for help. After watching them struggle Jesus made His
way out to them, walking on water. Seeing Him only made a bad situation
worse for His Disciples; they were going nowhere fighting the wind, now
they are being confronted by a man’s figure walking on water.
Naturally, they were terrified. They thought it was a ghost.
If
you have experienced fear you are not alone. Maybe you are not out in
the middle of a lake caught in a storm, but each ma...

The War Cry Road March
March 22, 2009
By Gailon Wisdom
What started out to be an overcast and rainy afternoon,
ended with a bang at the U.W.I Bowl on the campus of the University of
the West Indies, Jamaica. Ranny Williams Entertainment Center was the
meeting point of the over 200 die-hearted Christian soldiers who
decided that they were not going to be defeated by the heavy down pour
of rain. The March got on the way at approximately 12:30 p.m. with two
large trailer trucks, loaded with speakers, disc jockeys and some of
the island’s leading and uprising gospel ministers. The first truck had
the Mega Jamz crew of Kevin Lewis, Shawn Downer, and DJ Shawn
Christian, while the other was hosted by DJ Marshy Red, Marlon
“gatekeeper” Young and the GT Sounds Crew.
Truck 1 got the Holy Ghost party started in high gear as
the patrons danced to the latest mix in the rain on the busy Hope Road.
It was the same atmosphere with Truck 2 that was a few meters behind. A
blazing performance by Kevin Downswell...
