Last night I was watching a television programme called On Assignment on TVJ. There I heard 3 ministers of the gospel say that buggery as a criminal offense should be rethought. They were looking at the fact that the people engaging in that sort of activity are for the most part consenting adults. What struck me though was the grand hypocrisy that existed between them being firm in their stance against casino gambling, which the scripture does not speak about, and the abominable act of homosexuality which they want to rethink legally. I am not in support of casino gambling by any means and I will note that not all of the persons interviewed shared the same opinion but is this a sign of the compromise of the church or Christianity adapting to 21 st century culture?

I missed the program, but if 3 ministers say it's ok to make homosexuality legal, then that's a problem. This world system will have its way. Man, read Matthew 24 and II Timothy 3. This world is falling away. Today, if you eat in a restaurant without using the 'queen's' knife and fork people might look down on you as if you are somewhat uncivilized. But let two guys drink from one glass with two straws and you will see who is disturbed. The truth is that "ETHICS" has replaced MORALITY! God's Word is no longer recognized as God's Word! Many will turn away from the faith because of their itching ears or their desire to appease. If they legalize homosexuality, that's what they'll do, but it ought to be seen as a sin that will keep souls from the Kingdom, according to I Corinthians 6: 9... there are also other sins listed, like lying and the more. Sinners the scripture says will not inherit God's Kingdom.

No to repealing the buggery law!
