Today there are a lot of confusion and deception in our world. We are living in the ?New Age?, where God is whatever we want Him to be, even we ourselves. We are living in a time of idolatry that history has never seen. For God is created and recreated in the perception of billions on our planet. To some He is ?all loving?; to others He is ?all forgiving?. We make an image of what God ought to be like and we worship that image. We create a god that suits our particular lifestyle.
People have created ?God? in their image and likeness, instead of them being born-again into His image and likeness. They?ll say that the God of Christianity is too distant from humanity and He doesn?t understand the things that they go through. I guess if it were true then they would have a point, but what saith the scriptures? God?s Word speaks with emphasis and clarity when it comes unto the Humanity of Jesus. In Hebrews 4: 14 ? 16 the Bible states, ?Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.? God totally understands what we have to go through, and He is pleased to be our Mediator, our ?Lawyer? whenever we confess our sins unto God. Forgiveness is not limited. We do not have to make a god, an image which gives us comfort about ourselves when we sin. God knows best and so He gave us His best, His Son and His Spirit to teach us how to live in this world. [Titus 2: 12]. God has never changed, despite the best efforts of many influential groups and personalities to change Him. He will judge this world when He returns to earth. There is no mistake about that, for salvation is only found in Him and no other.
