Craig C

With engaging lyrical flows and a confident stage presence, Craig C brings a unique flavor to Reggae Gospel. Craig C burst on the stage in 2004 at a show titled First Sundays Unchained where he worked alongside Jamaican Gospel icon Carlene Davis.

His impressive performance led critic Michael A. Edwards of the Jamaica Observer to state, in his article delayed gratification: Sunday unchained, that he was a force to be reckoned with in the Christian DJ arena (July, 7, 2004). This paved the way for other performances at the Genesis Gospel Festival in 2005 and 2006, as well as Fun in the Son (Crossover Jesus Party) and many others.

Born Collin Chambers January 6, 1986 in St. Catherine, Jamaica and raised in the Portmore community, Craig C developed an appreciation for music of all genres at an early age. This is evident in his style of music, which incorporates dancehall, hip-hop and R&B. After recording several tracks for producer Dale ?Dr. Dizzle? Virgo, Craig C was officially signed to Holy Ground records in 2005. His first single released ?You? featuring Murphy has enjoyed good rotation on stations that matter in Jamaican gospel music. Craig C has also received international attention on Hype Fm in Miami, USA and other radio stations on the World Wide Web and is also downloaded on his web page www.download.com/craigc . Craig C is on a mission to use his musical talent for the upliftment of Christians as well as the unsaved. His Debut Album ?The Testimony?, is in the works. It is an account of Craig C?s relationship with God.

Mi mean fi seh dis a good while now, especially since yuh go buss pon stage a
Recharge like a YOU name San (no offence, that's a compliment, cause Papa San
is, to me, the biggest and best thing I've ever seen in gospel reggae,
deejay-style.) Brethren, yuh thing hard. It mek it. Mi luv yuh muzik, me luv yuh
style. Me especially appreciate the minstry, and the fact seh di Holy Spirit nuh
tek wings and fly weh when you come pon stage.
Me hear wholeap a suposedly new
gospel deejay and alla dem sound alike. Not you tho. Yuh have a different sound,
a different flow. An it a work fi yuh.
Anyway, wid alla that creativity and
potential, a God a dweet still. Frankly, if him ever leave your ministry, me a
lef it too.

christian to see that even with the hype of sumfest they featured a gospel

well i kinda know this broda yah personally and i can safely say that wen u
talk bout "dedication to god and his ministry" ! trust mi he is really
the epitomi of a faithful servant. Sometimes i dnt si him in weeks because him
in the studio. So, in essence i am not surprised that his ministry is doing so
well and i just want to big him and tell him that i am really proud of him.
Craig, remember to always look to god for strength and on like the other
comments that state their fav. song, i really cant because i love all of them.
